À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a motivated Associate Scientist II to join the Oligonucleotide Chemistry Team at our client's facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will focus on the analysis and purification of oligonucleotides, supporting therapeutic programs across various disease areas. Your expertise in LC/MS method development and oligonucleotide purification will be crucial in advancing novel nucleic acid conjugate platforms.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in mass spectrometry and purification techniques.
- Experience with waters LC/MS instruments and sgRNA analysis preferred.
- Familiarity with analytical techniques such as RP-UPLC, SAX-HPLC, LC-MS, and data interpretation.
- Background in developing analytical methods for oligonucleotide therapeutics.
- Knowledge of IP-RP-UHPLC and AX-HPLC techniques using Agilent, Waters, or Thermo UHPLCs.
- Understanding of GLP/GMPs in a pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
The Associate Scientist II's responsibilities will be:
- Provide analytical lab support for the early phase pipeline of oligonucleotides.
- Develop robust analytical methods using LC/MS, IPRP, and SAX for drug substance analysis and purification.
- Prepare samples, analyze data primarily using UPLC and LC-MS, and maintain accurate records.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
- Design and conduct experiments for characterizing modified oligonucleotides and sgRNA.
- Purify, deprotect, anneal, and lyophilize oligonucleotides to support disease programs.
- Synthesize oligonucleotides and ensure a safe working environment.
