À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking an Upstream Process Development Scientist to support the development, characterization, and scale-up of upstream viral vector manufacturing processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves hands-on execution of cell culture studies, data analysis, and troubleshooting in a laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will contribute to high-quality experimental design and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Skills & Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in upstream process development for viral vectors or therapeutic proteins, including suspension cell culture in shake flasks, lab-scale stirred-tank bioreactors, and rocker-bag systems.
- Familiarity with high-throughput upstream process development platforms, such as the Ambr system.
- Strong background in cell culture process development, gained through academic or industry settings.
- Ability to design experiments, analyze complex data, and effectively communicate findings.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation and laboratory practices.
The Associate Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Conduct cell culture studies using shake flasks, stirred-tank bioreactors, rocker-bag systems, and high-throughput bioreactor platforms.
- Support process development, characterization, and scale-up activities for upstream viral vector manufacturing.
- Assist in qualifying scale-down models to enable process characterization.
- Design experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to inform process improvements.
- Investigate laboratory issues and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate and high-quality documentation in paper or electronic lab notebooks.
Compensation:
- $30 to $38 per hour.
