À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a Communications Associate to join a dynamic team in Basingstoke. This role focuses on both external and internal communications within the pharmaceutical industry, with an emphasis on media relations and strategic storytelling. You will play a key role in managing press office operations, designing communication strategies, and fostering engagement across various stakeholders. The position requires working in the office 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily press office operations, including media monitoring, response coordination, and proactive outreach.
- Develop and execute strategic media activities for clinical trial data and regulatory milestones.
- Support and prepare senior leaders for external engagements and media opportunities.
- Create and manage corporate campaigns on social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn.
- Maintain and update corporate content on external websites.
- Build and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and external stakeholders.
- Design and implement an internal communications strategy for the Northern European Hub.
- Develop engaging content to highlight leadership and amplify key milestones internally.
- Drive employee engagement through clear, transparent, and inspiring messaging.
- Collaborate with HR and business unit leads to support change communications and cultural initiatives.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience in media relations and strategic communications.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple markets and within a global matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with regulated environments, preferably in pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
- Background in journalism, communications, public policy, or related fields is advantageous.
- Experience with social media platforms and corporate campaigns.
- Proficiency with AI tools and data analytics platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
