Craft stories that shape science-join our Basingstoke team as a Communications Associate driving pharma impact.

��Ƶ is seeking a Communications Associate to join a dynamic team in Basingstoke. This role focuses on both external and internal communications within the pharmaceutical industry, with an emphasis on media relations and strategic storytelling. You will play a key role in managing press office operations, designing communication strategies, and fostering engagement across various stakeholders. The position requires working in the office 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily press office operations, including media monitoring, response coordination, and proactive outreach.
Develop and execute strategic media activities for clinical trial data and regulatory milestones.
Support and prepare senior leaders for external engagements and media opportunities.
Create and manage corporate campaigns on social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn.
Maintain and update corporate content on external websites.
Build and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and external stakeholders.
Design and implement an internal communications strategy for the Northern European Hub.
Develop engaging content to highlight leadership and amplify key milestones internally.
Drive employee engagement through clear, transparent, and inspiring messaging.
Collaborate with HR and business unit leads to support change communications and cultural initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Proven experience in media relations and strategic communications.
Strong writing and storytelling skills tailored to diverse audiences.
Ability to work effectively across multiple markets and within a global matrixed organization.
Familiarity with regulated environments, preferably in pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
Background in journalism, communications, public policy, or related fields is advantageous.
Experience with social media platforms and corporate campaigns.
Proficiency with AI tools and data analytics platforms is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
