Consumer Demand Planner - Contract - Forth Worth, TX

À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a Consumer Demand Planner to support operations in the dermatology and cosmetics industry. This position focuses on driving insights, improving forecast accuracy, and supporting product lifecycle initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting, inventory management, and timely updates.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience in sales and operations planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management.
- Strong understanding of planning processes and statistical forecasting methods.
- Proficiency in Excel techniques, retail math, and statistical analysis (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with MS Office and statistical forecasting systems.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and deliver results.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of problem-solving independently.
- Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, and customer focus.
The Consumer Demand Planner's responsibilities will be:
- Develop and maintain consensus demand plans for assigned consumer accounts using sales, inventory, promotional, and distribution data.
- Collaborate with sales teams monthly to align forecasts and present updates in demand review meetings.
- Analyze retailer POS and customer sales data to identify deviations from forecasts and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with collaborative accounts and brokers to evaluate inventory levels and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate projects such as new product launches and lifecycle changes across multiple departments.
- Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing past performance and tracking errors systematically.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, bias, lost sales, and vendor/customer performance.
- Participate in company SOP processes and maintain data integrity through validation and cleansing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
