À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of materials and products within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves coordinating deliveries, replenishing production lines, managing stock movements, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Process goods inward transactions, including documentation and physical stock movements.
- Pick, replenish, load, and store components and products to meet production schedules.
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of finished products, completing all necessary documentation.
- Operate and maintain warehouse machinery and conveyor systems, addressing basic blockages or discrepancies.
- Perform SAP transactions, cycle counting, and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in line with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with third-party contractors for waste management and site hygiene.
- Support health and safety initiatives, identifying and addressing risks or unsafe conditions.
- Provide training and mentoring to team members as required.
- Participate in audits, investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
- Complete logbooks and documentation in real-time to ensure compliance.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ L3, BTEC National, ONC, or equivalent) in logistics, engineering, or a scientific field.
- Experience in a warehouse environment; regulated industry experience (e.g., pharmaceutical, food, aerospace) is desirable.
- FLT license and SAP competency are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet high performance standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective communicator, team player, and self-starter with problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical warehousing or cold chain logistics is a plus.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
