Lead the end‑to‑end planning of critical BFS products and keep a global supply chain moving seamlessly.
À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a Manager of Production Planning to join a dynamic team in the UK. This role focuses on managing and coordinating the supply chain activities for BFS (Blow-Fill-Seal) finished products, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery to customers. The position requires strong collaboration with global supply chain teams, markets worldwide, and internal departments. This is an on-site role with potential flexibility for the right candidate. The initial contract is for three months, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and expedite supply chain strategies and plans, ensuring seamless delivery of BFS products.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the site and global supply chain teams for BFS products.
- Coordinate activities across departments to ensure timely manufacturing and product release.
- Optimize packaging strategies to balance equipment, labor, and customer service needs, including product launches.
- Oversee export shipments and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain and update ERP system planning data for BFS products while driving continuous process improvements.
- Create tools to measure and track customer service and inventory performance, aiding senior management decision-making.
- Prepare draft plans, proposals, and key data for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc business reviews.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of lean supply chain principles and MRPII/ERP systems, ideally SAP R3.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Logical, methodical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams outside of direct reporting lines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer applications and integrated business software.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
