À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a Research Physician to join a dynamic team in the US.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will focus on providing medical consultation and research services for clinical studies within the immunology and infectious diseases space. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of clinical operations while collaborating with sponsors, clients, and internal teams.
Skills & Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Maryland (or ability to obtain one).
- Clinical practice experience, preferably with board certification in a general medical specialty.
- Experience in clinical or pharmaceutical research is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of FDA-regulated drug development processes is helpful.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The Research Physician's responsibilities will be:
- Execute investigator responsibilities for assigned projects, including reviewing laboratory data, performing physical assessments, and evaluating study participants.
- Support the implementation and application of clinical systems and ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide medical and clinical oversight, including training and performance assessments for clinical operations staff.
- Review and code adverse events and concomitant medications for accuracy and consistency.
- Offer medical consultation to clients, sponsors, and internal teams as needed.
- Participate in the preparation of clinical protocols, statistical summary reports, and other documentation.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to participate in on-call and general physician coverage for the Early Phase Unit.
- Liaise with sponsors, clients, and external medical consultants to ensure smooth study conduct and progression.
- Review safety data, adverse experiences, and regulatory reports to identify trends and ensure compliance.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of clinical work deliverables.
Compensation:
- $200 000.00 - $230 000.00 Per Annum
