Robotics Operations Supervisor - Contract - Cambridge, MA

À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a Robotics Operations Supervisor to oversee a shift of operators performing hands-on tasks with lab and scientific equipment in a structured data capture environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the generation of high-quality training data for robotic systems while coaching and guiding your team to achieve consistent results. This role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, maintaining adherence to protocols, and fostering a safe and organized workspace.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience supervising a frontline team in environments such as manufacturing, lab operations, warehouse, retail, or food production.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce precise, repeatable procedures.
  • Reliable and calm presence with the ability to coach and correct performance respectfully and consistently.
  • Comfortable working in a physical, repetitive setting and staying engaged throughout the shift.
  • Strong communication skills, including writing clear shift notes and escalating issues effectively.
  • Must be able to commute to Cambridge, MA.
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with SOPs, QA checklists, or compliance-driven work.
  • Experience with lab equipment or regulated environments (e.g., GxP, ISO-style rigor).
  • Experience training new hires or ramping up a team quickly.

The Robotics Operations Supervisor's responsibilities will be:

  • Lead daily shift operations, including setup, task assignments, and end-of-shift wrap-up.
  • Monitor protocol adherence and ensure data-capture readiness, addressing inconsistencies as they arise.
  • Train and support operators, providing real-time feedback and reinforcing best practices for safety and repeatability.
  • Track progress against goals, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate smooth handoffs across shifts.
  • Escalate equipment, supply, safety, or process issues promptly and document incidents clearly.
  • Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring workstations are clean, labeled, stocked, and set up according to standards.
  • Support documentation efforts, including checklists, shift logs, and basic reporting on throughput, quality, and exceptions.
