Scientist: Microfluidics - Contract - Tarrytown, NY

À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a motivated Scientist specializing in Microfluidics to join a dynamic team in NY. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in microfluidics and a passion for innovative research.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will support the development and optimization of microfluidics-enabled antibody discovery workflows. The position involves hands-on work with microfluidic chips, cell biology assays, and ensuring workflow continuity.
Skills & Requirements:
- Background in cell biology, bioengineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with microfluidic chips (e.g., droplet, microwell, microchamber).
- Proficiency in executing cell culture and cell biology-based assays.
- Familiarity with high-content imaging and data analysis.
- Basic scripting or coding experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, ImageJ) for system control and data processing.
- Experience working across biology-engineering interfaces.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to organize data into high-quality presentations, including graphs, figures, and tables.
The Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Execute and optimize cell-based assays on microfluidic microwell and other commercial chips.
- Assist with microfluidic experiments, including encapsulation, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform routine biological assay execution, data collection, and ensure workflow stability and reproducibility.
- Maintain detailed experimental records and contribute to protocol refinement.
- Document experiments, results, and findings in an electronic laboratory notebook.
- Contribute to the writing of technical reports, SOPs, and method protocols.
