À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking an Associate to join a dynamic High-Throughput Screening (HTS) and Profiling team. This role focuses on large-scale mammalian cell culture and supporting drug discovery efforts through automated experiments. The position is lab-based, with no home office option, and requires a collaborative mindset to contribute to innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain automated cell culture systems for large-scale cell production to support HTS and profiling campaigns.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new cell culture systems in collaboration with external vendors.
- Plan and execute automated experiments, including biochemical and cellular assays, to support hit identification and lead optimization.
- Analyze experimental data and ensure reproducibility and reliability of results.
- Collaborate with assay development teams to tailor assays across various scientific backgrounds, such as cellular, biochemical, biophysical, MS, or RNA.
- Expand expertise in lab automation and digital workflows to contribute to the development of a future-ready laboratory.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Educational background in a relevant field (apprenticeship, Bachelor's, or Master's degree).
- Experience in large-scale mammalian cell culture and assay development, preferably including High-Throughput Screening.
- Proficiency in setting up and executing various cell-based assay formats and techniques.
- Initial knowledge of lab automation with a strong interest in further development in this area.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot assay or automation issues.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare and conduct meetings.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
