Turn Manufacturing Data into Impact - Solution Design Manager Opportunity

��Ƶ is seeking a Solution Design Manager - Manufacturing Execution to support the design and development of SAP S/4HANA-based processes within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on aligning technology solutions with business needs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiency through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

This is a contract opportunity with a hybrid working model (3 days onsite) and a workload of 40 hours per week.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement SAP S/4HANA-based manufacturing execution processes, including integration with production planning, MES, line management systems, PI Historian, ATTP, and functions such as Finance and Quality.
Ensure solutions meet business and user requirements while aligning with architectural roadmaps and regulatory standards.
Collaborate closely with IT teams and related workstreams to deliver integrated, scalable solutions.
Lead fit-gap workshops to identify integration points, address gaps, and provide effort estimates.
Deliver project outputs within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Ensure all solutions are peer-reviewed, documented, and formally approved by relevant stakeholders.
Oversee testing processes to ensure solutions meet required quality benchmarks.
Promote standardisation to minimise customisation and support cost-effective delivery.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks (e.g. GMP, FDA).
Engage with functional teams and stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve solutions.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Proven experience in manufacturing execution, production planning, or MES-related environments.
Strong expertise in SAP, including integration of SAP PP-PI, MES, and SAP EWM.
Experience within regulated industries (e.g. pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, or similar).
Solid understanding of GMP and regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, including experience leading workshops and training sessions.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are advantageous.

Six Sigma knowledge
Project management experience
