Manufacturing Technician - Contract - Social Circle, GA

À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing operations within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves preparing solutions, operating production equipment, and maintaining compliance with GMP standards. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
  • Experience in a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with GMP and GDP guidelines is preferred.
  • Ability to operate and maintain production equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

The Manufacturing Technician's responsibilities will be:

  • Prepare media and buffer solutions.
  • Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) systems.
  • Assemble and operate filtration systems.
  • Operate general production equipment, including pH and conductivity meters, autoclaves, and portable mixers.
  • Monitor and record critical process parameters.
  • Complete all relevant documentation in compliance with GDP and GMP guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to maintain GMP standards.
  • Conduct sampling using aseptic techniques.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.
  • Receive and distribute supplies into production areas as needed.
  • Train and mentor team members.
  • Assist in troubleshooting process issues and responding to alarms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
