Account Manager - Permanent - Seattle WA

À±½·ÊÓÆµ is seeking an Account Manager to lead sales and account management activities within the Northwest US and parts of Western Canada.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role focuses on driving growth and market penetration for multiomics and synthetic biology portfolios. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and developing innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
Skills & Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences or related field.
- Previous experience in account management and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of industry challenges and applications knowledge across Pharma, Biotech, Government Agencies, and Academia.
- Familiarity with sequencing, cell and gene therapies, and molecular biology lab techniques.
- Experience working in a team environment and implementing successful consultative strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
The Account Manager's responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement territory development plans, working with stakeholders and coordinating resources for team selling.
- Leverage expertise in drug discovery, drug development, gene-to-antibody workflows, and proteomics to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to address customer needs and add value through life science portfolios.
- Consistently exceed sales targets by managing a robust pipeline and expanding market penetration.
- Acquire new customers and grow existing accounts.
- Provide forecasts, weekly reports, and market intelligence to managers and stakeholders.
- Close sales deals strategically while nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Maintain organized customer and account information within CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Product Management, to align strategies and execute sales initiatives.
Compensation:
- $105,000 to $115,000 per annum.
